    yes I did read the description, a couple of times actually.
    it can be easily put into the .gif image he supplied,
    If you take a look around the forum you will see that this is actually quite a common way of submitting a logo, even when there is a supplied background.

    I'd also like to add that it is possible that my power (and my internet) could go out for extended periods of time here over the weekend.
    so, I'm not guaranteeing that I will be able to check this contest, or respond to PM's as frequently as I usually do.
