Mobile Web Design - Anyone created mobile virson for existing site/blog

I have read lots of article about mobile web design and feel that mobile website design will be big booming market. So I would like to know more details about it. I want to know how I create mobile version of any blog?

You could simply create a html site with width of 100-200 pixels.

I was trying to detect when someone visits my site from a mobile. I can get it to work for the handsets - but am having trouble when using a downloadable browser like operamini / skyfire - can anyone advise how to detect the phone when the native browser is not being used?

 

Just curious, what are you sites made from that you are trying to make a mobile version for?
