Domain Name Price Increase Notification : Domain going up 40 cents

    I use Namecheap but others providers are cheaper (for example name.com $7.99 standard price).
    However Namecheap's Marketplace works good that's why I will continue to register domains with them.

    not too horrible of a price increase but kinda disappointing to see price inflation as the US economy is sinking.

    name.com also changed the price of the domain names from $5.99 to $7.99.

    Is this so? For new registrations? I have not received any e-mails from
    them...do you know when this takes effect?

    I received the Namecheap e-mails. Guess I should attend to all registrations
    and renewals very soon.
