Take me on this seriously, im a graphic designer and a heavy gamer!! AMD kicks ass anytime. intel is good for basic PCs. But when it comes to heavy Graphics and processing AMD rules Big time. Here what i got in ma PC : 4 gb RAM AMD Quard core processor 512 MB Nvidea Gforce. IM damm happy with it. its as Smooth as a farrari
The thing about AMD is that they should be supported as competition is healthy, without any competition from AMD we would be in a similar situation as in the online auction market, total domination by one company, too much power, a healthy balance needs to exist.
I prefer AMD, it is easy to modify, overclock, or whatever you want to do with it. I use AMD for gaming. I use Intel xoen in my servers. Both are good, but for different things.
I had a couple of Pentiums back in the day, but since buying my first AMD chip (a K6), I've never looked back. I'm happy to support AMD simply because they're not Intel. Is that a Chinese Ferrari?
I have been using AMD and Intel in the past. Don't see any major different in term of performance except the price of the CPU itself. But for a laptop, I still stick with Intel. Maybe it just because Centrino sound much better than Turion.
Back in the day AMD was the best. It was cheaper and faster than Intel.... Nowadays they have lost their edge. I would unfortunately go with Intel.
i'm using intel for my desktops and notebooks. i used to have an amd notebook and i found it's more difficult to sell used amd notebook. does anyone had the same experience?
AMd for Gaming Intel for Working that's the way it should go. But I hope AMD could come back to compete with Intel again soon orelse it will be boring.
