    Hi Pals,

    I'm submitting my website to several directory and SE. However, i saw Reciprocal Link URL during the submission.

    What is the benefit of putting "Reciprocal Link" to your website? Does it help to your website?

    It helps the search engine build their own links. Doesn't help you site, usually they will put your site in their index quicker if you have a reciprocal.

    They'll add your site to their directory quicker. The downside is that the reciprocal link just about cancels out thhe link the directory has pointing to you. The past year, I've avoided sites that require a reciprocal link. Saying that, any link is better than none at all. Best to add the reciprocal on a links page buurried at the bottom of the website (ie you have to click through 3-4 levels to get to it!).

    i don't think it's worth it. if it's from the same ip, google may even penalize you
