Does Google PR update again?

When was this site launched? Did it have any PR previously?
I have one, registered the name on 4/10, let the bots in on 4/24, and still has a PR0, checked at http://www.mcdar.net/.
This morning I had 714 pages indexed (only checked google.com) and now show 11,900. Other d/c's show 855, 914, 11200, 11800...

 

Hello after reading this thread i noticed one of my domains went from pr0 to pr1 whats going on? It did not say this the last update.

 

Here we go again....

 

The three (3) sites were not new registrations and as of 04/19/06 all three (3) showed Toolbar PR of Zero (0).

Nope, my site is still PR 0.

But from what I can tell lately about google's pr updates is that they seem much more random, and they don't crawl everyone site at the same time. I wish they would tell us when they are going to update...

 

That wouldn't be any fun. If they start doing that, there will be no cool PR Update threads.

i expect the next google toolbar pr update to be in June 'sometime'.

Effective is dynamic of course, so thats what counts for most things.

 

I hate these kinds of threads but I did notice something last night, a domain that I registered on 11-Apr-06 has a PR0 according to the toolbar and http://www.pimpr.com/ also shows it as a PR0, but if I go to google sitemaps and have a look on the crawl stats page with the high/medium/low/not assigned pr bars, then the low bar is almost completely green.

its also showing the index page as the page with the highest page rank for the last 3 months, yet the domain is not 3 months old.

Just did some checking on other new sites, either new registrations or domains that I havent been using but have PR0, so far they are all showing the same thing.

Anyone else seeing this?

 

Interesting, MrGeek. We know that PR values fluctuate in real time, it is the public rollout we have come to call an update. I would not have bothered with this thread if not for ResaleBroker's posts - most others are by relative newbies.
But Google has a lot of idiosyncrasies right now, so no telling what it means. Hopefully that is some indication of 'live' pr. My new site is being crawled and indexed similar to PR4 sites, but I am not using sitemaps.

I thought the same thing. I noticed one website went from PR7 to PR6, but that is all. No other changes noticed on my part.

 

Still holding steady at PR11.... I think I saw it hit 12 but I think that was just a glitch.
