Blog is better for SEO ?

I am running all the sites almost blogs

would it be good to run blog for promotion because i have no idea can any one have a look on my sites and let me know is it ok to do blog sites are in signatures

if u r using wordpress then i will say yes ofcourse its easy to put and edit ur meta tags, and wordpress is seo friendly

now the question is i am leaving index page blank and installing wp on blog folder like

www.abc.com/blog so when i got good content or affliate or something for that site i m putting on index page but would it work in seo manner i mean that index page would be promoted afterwords or not?

I use wordpress...Good results!

 

But i have place wordpress since last 6 month i think so but still no PR at all on any of sites its around 15 different categories.

wordpress is good for seo . it is a common sense.
