Please Review and Critique my new casino directory template

I just put up a web directory that is of a gambling nature and I would really appreciate it if the members here would give their honest opinion of the template design and such so that I can improve it.

The site looks great, the overall layout and design is nice, I like the header but I think
it's a little too big it's occupying a little too much of the page.

 

I agree with Kingofsanda - the picture is cool, but maybe make it a little smaller. And, you might want to narrow the nav buttons... maybe don't center the text on them and you can make them narrower, which gives you more content space, too. But, overall, nice looking site!

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I did it but I just loved the pic!

I just thought that casinos looked kinda like that with gold here and there with different type stylings such as this and that! ha ha if that makes any sense!!

Pic seems a bit too big to me too. I like the color scheme, but it is kind of jumbled right now...maybe work on organization of the site and links a bit.

 

I think it looks great , it makes you feel like you're in Vagas, the colors are dark and warm and I like the gold accents, actually the brown looks a lot like gold which works.
