    Hey Guys,

How can i set up like a service on my site so that people can subscribe to my site and they get an email sent by me when i add new content to the site? Are there any sites that provide this code or service for free?

    Thanks

Just add your new content in the form of a blog (I'd recommend Wordpress) which has a feed already built into it...
Then 'burn' the feed url with feedburner to change the feed address.
Also, use the feedburner service to generate an email opt-in box for your readers to subscribe to updates via email.

That's the free way to do it, but personally I'd recommend subscribing to the Aweber service and using that to deliver the feed and capure names and email addresses - that way you're building yor own list.

If you don't have a website which already has feed capabilities then you will need to code your own XML feed it is quite simple you can find step by step guides on the internet however the problem you may face is your actual feed not working sometimes.

After you have created your feed validate it then get an account with feedburner to use and wala :D

Yes, both Feedburner and Feedblitz allow you visitors to subscribe to your sites RSS feed and be sent email whenever you have new content attached to the feed. Both options have a free level so sign up to each to learn more about the functionality and determine which is better for your needs.
