Chrome is just a gimmick, it's USeless!

Personally I think Chrome is just a gimmick to attract investors. Why would people want to use crhome when there are more browsers available already?

I think I may have had the quickest install and uninstall in internet history.

 

SFOD, that's because we are webmaster. However, for most non tech savvy people, installing and uninstalling is not a simple task.

Therefore, for most of the time, no one really want to install anything new!

 

Can you name something else Google has done recently that's been a flop? Google Mail? Google AdSense? I don't really think so...

 

Anyway, google chrome's vision is to make a "browser of the future" that follows their vision "Do no evil"

 

just see Google GTalk! I dont think they have captured anything big as compared to other inventions such as skype.

So it is just to keep investors happy!

Most non tech savvy people have no idea what a browser is. Advanced users and webmasters will probably avoid spyware from Google and need more features.

 

I haven't tried it yet. Been scared to since IE 8 Beta ruined my husband's computer. If it's not broke, I'm not gonna fix it.

If they allow for plugins to be added then it has the potential to dominate the browser market

Almost everything they put out is spyware!

The only ones that will use this are either ones that dont know or ones who dont care about thier privacy being compromised. (Which there seems to be ALOT OF)

 

Chrome is rubbish, I just tried it and will not be using it again.

 

chrome is very fast, faster than FF and IE, and it's easy to use with nice GUI, i love chrome.

Chrome is the fastest browser currently available and I don't see why people won't use if its free. Whats all the hate about? Chrome has some nice cool features, I seeing a trend here and that trend tells me that lots of people are now seeing Google as the evil big brother.

In a few years Chrome is going to be the number 1 browser in the world and Firefox will go down the drain. Google is promoting the browser in the fu-king homepage, you know how many people visit the Google homepage? About 95% of the world population (ok a little exaggerated) but you get my point. Google has lots of power and they can sure advertise the browser to the fullest.

As I'm typing this there are thousands of people downloading the Chrome browser and most will use it as there main browser of choice because its fast and pretty (ok a nice UI, pretty sounds gay). I have a few friends who already have Chrome as there main browser (there loving it).

You see, people say things like "oh, Chrome doesn't have add-on support, etc etc) the truth of the matter is that most people don't use add-ons only geeks like us who are the minority, and maybe in the future they will add some type of add-on support who knows.

Yeah, its a bit scary how Google is dominating the entire web and collecting every type of information it can from the us, but all we can do is hope they won't do anything evil in the future with it. But I know they have some type of plan because why would they just give out free software and services? Yep, they have something for us alright and it ain't good.
