Dumb threads on DP

This will come across bitter, but I mean seriously. Why do people start threads like "What's your weight?" and "What's your height?"?????????????

Who cares? Why start that on a forum about business? I know this is general chat and I post dumb crap all the time, but weight and height? Its gotten worse and worse, and its surprising that no one deletes that crap. (As this will probably be.)

 

Maybe because they post it on general chat and expecting to get some impression on their adsense.

 

Yea, maybe thats it. I wondered why they might be doing that..LOL..

 

Hmm. Makes sense, but why doesn't it get deleted? Its pointless. What if I started a thread entitled "Rock - Paper - Scissors" and asked for a game?

Wait. Damnit, that just gave them an idea!

 

well everybody is doing anything to earn money everybody is start to get desperate to get money... just like me
but I think im not that desperate...

I write random stuff people look at my signature and if I started this thread or had a few links in my signature I might get lucky and get some hits. Extra 20 UV is always nice

 

Making a thread about dumb posts is pretty pointless and a waste also. So welcome to the what is your age / height world, you are #1

 

Seriously... AdSense revenue sharing is the only reason there's a lot of these weird random threads. Now we've got people putting up fake AdSense screen shots with "share a pic" to make extra cents...

 

Maybe because some people feel like this is a community to them and they want to just chat away, but who knows.

there are a lot of dumb threads, but who cares..? If you don`t like them, ignore them. If we all ignore dumb threads, never will make them, right, because they will have no posts in it.
