Here is a little trick you can use to get back at all the spammers that spam your inbox every day.

This is also a good way of getting your affiliate links in front of peoples eyes.

All Email accounts be it Gmail, Yahoo or hotmail have a vacation setting where they send out an auto response to the sender informing them that you are away.

The good thing here is they are all editable so you can put your own message there instead.

    Example
Give it a go and see if it brings you any results.

Answering a spam email in any way shape or form is a great way to guarantee that your email address gets on more spam lists and you get 100 times more spam.

Its not a good idea though
What i suggest is just report the email as spam

...from what I understand, the more spammers spamming this account, the more spammers you can spam back =)

...you're not actually using this account, simply put it on vacation mode and leave it alone.

Lol.. if we send them 1 email... they may send 100 spam emails :( So, better not to try that.
Also, do we have to do it manually?

just make a new email account. Then, get some of the spammers off the email your using now. E-mail them with hello or something... then, put your vacation message on and your good to go... just for fun, I don't think it will bring you much traffic, but whatever ^_^

You're being very naive if you think human eyes will ever read those emails. You're just alerting bots to the fact that it's a 'live' email account.

ya agreed human eyes will never read response emails.
but disagreed that the report email will result in more spam.
The spam programm may consider the report as a bounced and remove the email address from their list.

U never answer to spammer. That itself turns them on.Keep on ignoring them.
If even open a message they are able to track u and that will encourage them to send more.
    Spammers are smart.
    Beat it.

spammers never reply to emails it is all automated through many hundreds or even thousands of emails they are using that were also auto-generated. What do you think the spammer sits there and sends out emails one by one to a list of people he has?

Seems like it would work if you used an auto responder like the vacation setting idea. But I am pretty sure all of the emails are sent by bots and not even from legitimate email addresses. Sometimes they even use the reply to address as your own address.

What ahuddy is saying is correct. If you notice carefully, you will just reply to a non-existing email addresses. Usually the phishing link is embedded in the mail content itself.

if you create a spam email adress and set it up sing up for spammy things then wait and respond to a few emails and its set from there you dont really need to open it maybe once a month
