    On-Page, creating mata tgas(title, description, keywords), adding alt tags, anchore tags, adding robos, adding quality content with keywords stuffing, add innner links, add site map page and xml site maps and submit to major search engine webmaster tool.......................!

    meta tags (title and descriptions mainly but thowing in keywords doesnt hurt)
    use of H1 and H2 tags
    unique content (a must have, no copied content will rank high)
    focus on keyword density and distribute your keywords through out the site content. dont stuff your article or a page with keywords appearing 100 times. 3%-5% keyword density have given me good results in the past.
    use the keyword once (twice with variation if possible) on your page title and description
    have keyword rich domain if possible
    use sitemap and proper site navigation
    use of page that is search engine freindly (no flash site for example)

    save yourself a lot of time and hassle and have a onsite seo report done on your site which will give you a detailed analysis of your site with reccomendations to improve your site for your keywords

    Its very simple. Onpage means the seo work on website pages. Adding relevant title to the pages, metas, heading tags, check the content, check the anchor of the pages, image optimization, check the density of the keywords, site navigation, etc.
