Highest Paying Affiliate programs?

    Hi,

I'm looking for an affiliate program that gives a percentage of comission on each product sold, a site that cans sell expensive products like amazon so I can targest the highest ones (they only pay 4% :( ). I'm considering Ebay but their revenue share policy is a bit complicated, you might earn more on a product at 10k than a yacht at 50 Million dollars lol...
Any suggestions anyone? trying cj at the moment, looks like the shops have 99% of their products under 10k

What you need to keep in mind is the type of traffic going to your site. If it experienced webbies like those here on DP and other SEO-heavy forums you may suffer lots of work and little fruit being borne from it. Remember just about everyone here knows how to strip away a link and get a product from a site on their own...Just something to think about.

What do you think on jewelry-related affiliate programs?

I think steering away from the more link driven systems would be best. As far as a jewelry option, I would look for something that is reputable that I can possibly dropship from. This would allow you the potential to set your own prices.

The problem with large-ticket items is that a good portion of the sales are going to be diverted offline. If I'm going to purchase a $20,000 diamond, even if it is from an online seller, it is highly unlikely that I'm going to put my credit card information into a shopping cart system for twenty thousand dollars. More likely I'm going to go do a wire transfer or get a cashier's check AFTER I talk to a sales rep on the phone. There goes your affiliate commission as well...

Why not sell 100 items at $100 a piece... I'd say that is easier than selling one item at $10,000 and having the transaction complete online.

Very true. Online biz isnt suitable for big online shopping.
I'll never buy anything >~1000$ online, and have zillion 1-100$ online transactions

Good luck! I've tried CJ, Amazon, CardOffers and Linkshare but never had much luck. Contextual ads are still my primary earners.

I'm curious, how well do some of you do with computer/tech-related affiliate programs?

And yes, I am new here. :)

Since everyone who does websites knows/loves computers, there is a ton of competition... the most successful are probably the price comparisons and couponers.

I guess I was referring more to sites like ours (mainly computer memory). Do any of you belong to an affiliate program like ours?

Nice site. I personally don't do anything tech/hardware since it is saturated.

if you have the capacity to sold a product then better go for clickbank it pays you the highest.. do not waste your time in promoting your product which gives you a mere 4% or five.

I would have a look at some of the forex programs, they pay around $300 per sign-up which is pretty good. Hosting programs pay around $100 per sign up as well. I have made a bit of money through More Niche previously.
