Just got IE8, not too happy

I actually downloaded and gave IE 8 beta a try. It was fine until I found a bug where when right clicking on text/image links, it crashes my IE everytime. As well as the Forum Jump no longer work unless I use one of the new features called Compatibility View and view as IE7 again.

Disappointing but then again its microsoft what can i expect.
I've also written a small review about it if anyone's interested
    IE8 Beta Review

    Anyone else tried IE8?

I'm not even going to bother with IE. I have the IE plugin for firefox if I ever *do* need IE, which is very rare.

I only use it to check my designs to make sure they look okay in IE.

If you run McAfee do not upgrade to IE8 Beta 2, it turns the McAfee interface blank leaving you unable to access any of your security or firewall settings or run scans.

I got hit with this conflict last night, and when searching for a solution many other people encountered the same problems and couldn't correct it either. The only way is to uninstall IE8.

I'm sure IE8 will still be able to use the Google toolbar. Overall, IE8 makes some great improvements (many stolen from Firefox) but I'm pretty loyal to Firefox at this point. It would take a bulldozer to move me back to Internet Explorer.

IE8? I would not bother to even try it. Mess up my whole computer when I downloaded IE7.

People continue to use it and when you run over 100 websites it's a huge chunk of traffic that's lost if you don't ensure everything works with this "product" that's why i have to bother with it.

Believe me, i've spent 1,000s of hours bashing my head against the wall dealing with IE quirks and it would make my day for it to either go away or render pages correctly.

Ok I use FF all the time now but I did DL IE:8...

and to my surprise it loads FASTER then FF..

it does not seem to require as much resources as FF also.. but I have'nt fully used it and run it through the paces as I'm hooked on FF.. but my first impression is IE:8 is fast.

I guess in the next 24 hrs we will have another browser.. Googles own little beast called Chrome..
