I believe so, I rank top of the SERPS for UK Google, also the UKs version of .com which "IS" different then the US .com as I have tested. Though I don't believe the hosting matters, but the .co.uk does, I have a .co.uk on a US host (Bluehost) and its not affected my results.
I thought I read somewhere that having a host with a UK IP helped, I do hope I haven't been wasting my money on the more expensive UK hosting :0
Yes both domain and hosting from UK wud help to get rankings in Google.co.uk. Also try to book ur domain with any Uk domain Provider......................
Well it surely does. Having your website hosted on a server based in a particular country helps search engines ascertain the website's relevance to a particular geographical local. It is also an essential factor for geo targeting.
It helps, but it's not vital. The tld is more important, google say the location of server comes into play when there is no other 'clue' as to what location is primary - so it plays a part, but not a big part.
UK based hosting doesn't make much difference but domain will help you with SEO on Google UK serps but don't only depend on it, proper optimize n do necessary process of seo if use this combination it will surely help in ur result. SEO Specialist
We host sites in the US and UK, and there is no difference. We get traffic from both. We also have the local address on every page in the sites. As for the domain name, unknown.
