I,m new to adsense and blogs

Could some check to see if the adsense is set in a good position for my blog. Just started two weeks ago. I just want to get some info if its feaseable. Just need a few pointers. The blog is in my signature Thank you for taking your time.

 

After setting adsense in your blog you have to try to develope your blog with more and more traffic so more people come to your blog and more clicks you will get more benefits from adsense also.

 

I only see one ad unit in your site, I suggest you put some more ad units. Atleast one some where at the top.

Change top ad to a 468x60 text unit. Remove the scrolling around your Google Search

add a 728x15 ad on the top of your header

 

Not at all a good site... sorry mate, but you could do better than that. Try out the Talian WP theme. You could get my point by just visiting the links in my signature. It is SEO theme which you could customize as per your requirements. Also get a Ad Unit at the top, i had to scroll all the way down to see the ad !!!!

Webkinz lover you did not have to scrollall the way down for the blog there are 3 adds one on top one on the side and also bottom, the website is on the bottom on which I will be adding a add below the menu links, thanks guys.

 

I don't like your blog layout, use three column ad sense template.


You have added one ad sense block you can add too.

Change the background color of the ad sense block to match the page background color.

Use a catchy header and below that header add 728 x 15 horizontal row .This will increase your CTR.

I agree with Tehmina, my preference is for three column blog template.
But I would say we all need a starting place and I would expect that you will develop your site as you get more experience.
My preference is for ad's on right hand column and I would incorporate a banner ad across the top with block ad top right and skyscraper below.
In the end it is a personal thing.

 

The default Blogger templates sucks! If you want to monetize your blog, go with any 3 column custom blogger template...and instead of those little box ads in the right sidebar... put 160*600 ads...they work pretty well. Good luck.

 

I don't understand, instead of putting 2 ad units using small rectangle ad format, why not use single unit skyscraper or vertical banner instead. There will be less "ads by google" wordings Hope that helps.
