PayPal problem

So the problem is as follows:

I did withdraw a significant amount of money from my verified PayPal account to my bank account in Slovakia.

It was on August 26th. The problem is my money haven't appeared in my bank account yet. Usually, when I withdraw money to my bank account, they appear there 2-3 days later. Now, it has been 5 days and nothing.

I'm starting to get worried.

Any thoughts on what could be the problem?

 

Well, in the US, it was the long Labor Day weekend which is somewhat still on and that may have explained the cause of the delay.

On the Paypal statement, what is the status of the withdrawal ? Is it showing up as Pending or Complete. Count 5 to 7 working days after it shows as Complete.

 

It says complete... I will wait to the end of week. But this is weird, everytime I have sent money from PayPal account to bank account in the past, it took at most 3 days...

I'm just afraid because this was a large amount of money for many weeks of work...

 

Well, you are definitely fortunate, for me it always takes about 5 to 6 working days before I see the money.

 

Same here. I'm guessing it'll be there soon. If not you can call PayPal and have them give you a status update. However, I think their support is closed today.

 

I agree, I'm thinking that the labour day long weekend is to blame.

Placing a phone call would not hurt either though

I have the same problem. I withdraw 100$ to my credit card on 1st august and I didn't received anything till now.
I contacted paypal and never got any answers. I made 5 transactions till now, there are about 700$ completed to withdraw on paypal, hope they will come to my credit card .

 

You should wait for a few more days.
I normally receive the money with in 2 days, but it took 9 days once.

 

Wait till 7 working days....if the money didn't show up...then you can make a call to Paypal.

We had a particularly long weekend with the holiday, so give it some time and I am sure it will arrive

 

Yeah... I will wait few days and them send them an email. But the transaction was complete (status showed in PP account) few days ago already and money isn't in my account yet

 

What is long Labor Day weekend..?
And BTW i too think paypal is closed from past few days
See my monthly withdrawal limit has not updated too 500$ which should have been done last week itself
I however have contacted paypal via Contact Us..but no reply so far...seems like they are enjoying holidays

 

dude its showing complete, then its just a matter of time. nothing else. relax and just wait for the payment. it might be coming in anytime.

 

In the US, Labor Day is the first monday of each September so typically most people would have a long weekend as they will only need to go back to work on Tuesday. It is the day dedicated to all the workers for their contribution to the economy.

It would pretty much be the same as May Day or International Workers' Day which is celebrated in most other countries which is the first day of May.

Everything going fine and normal...

 

Got the money today. What a relief.
