OMG...now that IS funny. Thank you for that: I needed a larf.

That clueless doughnut of a webmaster not only steals your images, but also implements the technique in the most ridiculous manner I've ever seen.

Someone needs to get that webmaster to a good hospital for an emergency brain transplant.

Finally gave in and stuck some related images next to the Adsense Ads (with solid borders of course) even though it kind of make my web pages look ugly. The CTR is slightly above the monthly averages, so we'll just have to see how it goes for a week. But since this has already been proven to work by many of the others posters to this thread, I am just along for the ride after not conforming for such a long time.

I have noticed that many sites dont have "advertisment" or "sponsored link" above their Google ads.I thought that was part of the TOS.

Or has it been a myth all along, because I would really like to remove those titles from above my ads

How do you rotate the images?

If that has already been covered, and I missed it, I apologize- can you just point me there?

What kind of script rotates the images, where would I acquire it, and do all the images need to be the exact same dimensions for it to work?

    Thanks:)

Ellen take a look at this website that offers a free solution to rotate images.

    http://automaticlabs.com/products/rotator

I've tried this before and works perfectly :)
The script grabs images from an image folder and the image changes with each page refresh.

Thanks, Edz- that's just what I needed!

Does it slow down loading time, though?

No, not really. I did not notice any significant slow loading times when i have tested it myself. it's there and you don't notice a thing :)
Plus it's easy to install, just drop the files in the root directory paste a piece of code in your body of the page in question and place some images in the folder where the script retrieves the images from and you're set.

The person at that website also linked the images to a popup ad... not impressive.

Hey Critters (and all others on this thread/forum).
I'm fairly new at this and recently (about 3 weeks ago) launched a website about core duo laptops. I have implemented the awesome images suggestion from here (and will rotate as soon as i can whip up some more variations). Do you think you could take a look at the site and give me some advice on placement/image technique. I'm getting very very low CTRs (like 2 - 3% at about avg 300 - 400 uniques a day).
    Thanks a ton.

the original post is great! how i wish my site's CTR grow like that though I think I must focus first on sending more people to my site (i only average 45 to 60 unique visitors).

I just have one question on the pig site, is the color combination part of the trick for the CTR? I didn't particularly liked the layout especially the colors but if it really part of raising the CTR, then maybe I'll try to go on that directioni.
