GOOGLE KNOWS! - I hired a firm in India-Now my website is only tops in (google) India

My links ARE NOT FROM INDIA
My Hosting IS NOT IN INDIA
My Uploads are NOT FROM INDIA


The only thing is, the people add the links are from India.

That is all they do. Directory Submission, Social Book, Article, etc.

NOW, my site is # 1 in INDIA GOOGLE ONLY

Can anyone explain this?

I asked him what the process was. he said, 5 guys sit in the office and they add links. IN INDIA.

Not a good idea to hire people from india to do the work.
Their methods seo wise are not that great.

Google is smarter than them.

You have probably done some irreversible damage by doing this.

Google can follow ip addresses which is probably why you are only topping in india's google.
They can determine who has submitted.

I really do feel that the next google update will kill alot of these links which will be great for the people doing seo ligitimately.

 

If they are real SEO specialists.. They should have known how geo targeting works..

 

It would be much better if you can provide the link to your site.

Good question. I believe that's the fact.

 

There should be some links from India that you don't see.

 

I'm confused. They first say their links are not from India, then they say the site was promoted on Indian sites

 

This is so funny.. Sorry for being too not serious but honestly how is that possible even though the people who submitted it is from India. If its backlinks or SEO at Indian sites only then thats possible.

 

The Indian seo company is probably doing three way linking as follows:

Site1 >> Site2(Your Site) >> Site3 (Indian Link Page) >> Site1

Since the big daddy 'infrastructure' update, Gooogle has the processing power to identify linking relationships found in reciprocal linkks and 3 way linking.

So the issue is that you have hundreds of sites linking to you and an indian link page links to all the sites that are giving you a backlink.

 

Agreed if you can provide us the link then we can tell the result more clear.

Go to your webmaster tools and make your search results relative to the country you want results for.

Maybe this will work.

have you checked how you rank on let's say google AU or google russia? compare. It has nothing to do with your SEO firm, most SEO firms don't know jack about geotargetting.

 

yes you would perform well in google.com in future , not only in india only.

I hired people from places like getafreelancer.com and I gave them list to place links myself.

So NONE of the places they link to are indian. (unless some fell through)

So are we all following? I hired guys. (from India) I hired them for DATA ENTRY and I gave them LINKS LISTS of my own.

AND IT BACK FIRED. I mean, not completely. But....I am # 1 3 5 in india and far off in the USA.

THATS HOW wussadotcom.

 

Also, I have been doing this 4 years. GEO TARGETING doesnt work.

Let me tell you, I hire guys from GAF or SL and tell them where to place links. (I own 500 websites) I had this problem WAY WORSE with another smaller website and I went into G.webmasters tools, then....picked USA only. And BOOM.FLASH.....Nothing. Then....i updated the meta description to say something like. AMERICAS # 1 Product.....and still, NOTHING.

So....I really think Google knows where links are placed from.

Also....can someone explain GEO TARGETING, I thought you ment, simply though google webmasters tools. You mean....simply just post in USA sites for USA targeting. I got you.

 

The must have bookmarked your website from few indian IP address , submitting to directories , forums , posting in forums from indian ip addreeses .
