Domains left for dead

Do you have any domains that you have "left for dead"? Maybe you had an idea, and then it you never really had time to develop the idea or something better came along? Maybe you had an idea for a "killer" adsense site that never materialized? If you are not embarrassed to post them, add some of your domains here. Maybe if you are lucky, someone will make an offer to buy one.

Here are a few of mine:
www.personalinjuryplexus.com - a friend of mine asked me to make this for him, but then he never followed up with me, so it continues to sit their gathering dust.
www.taxhelpcentral.com - I made this a long time ago, and my wife likes to look at it occasionally, because it makes her laugh when she sees the "people" at the bottom.
www.affiliateprogramguide.net - oh my gosh, a site I own that is a diretory that is not running phpLD! I've had this one for a long time, but I never was able to develop the concept.
www.mortgageplexus.com - It's tough to compete in the mortgage industry, and this site does a sad job of trying.
www.forums-directory.com - look at the stupid image I put up for a "forum directory". What was I thinking!?
www.nationalregisterofhistoricplaces.org - one heck of a "register" with 2 places in 2 years, and still with the Joomla defaul template.

One point I want to make in closing. Sometime you have to try a few thinks before you hit on something that is successful. Obviously, the above sites to date have not been successful.

I registered www.play-arcade.net thinking I had discovered a great domain name... only to find out that playarcade.net existed with the exact same script I was intending to use.

So that was $10 down the drain!

I regged http://www.WhatWeThink.co.uk a couple of years ago with the idea of a portal/forum and polling site to be aimed at your average working man in the UK to try to find out what they really think about UK issues.
I forgot all about it until I got a renewal notice last week!

www.cheatersunited.net and www.cheatersunited.org - about 300 uniques this month just parked, originally it was a huge multiplayer cheats site but didnt have time to manage it so it went down

www.politicalmonkey.ca - Site is still up for some reason but i canceled hosting a month ago, too much to manage

www.image-nations.com - waiting for it to expire

www.boothstand.com - was supposed to be a classifieds site

As I come up with more and more ideas, the cost of hosting rise. Therefore the following is my list of once thought useful online ideas and now a waste of money and time.

PR4 http://www.windows-live-local.com .... This I thought Microsoft's Live.com was the next big thing.
PR4 http://www.medcareerchat.com Since i'm currently in college pursuing an A.S degree in Radiologic Technology, I thought it would have been a good idea to have a forum where people employed in Allied Health positions can chit chat. I later figured out it cost lots of dollars and time to effectively promote a forum. It's been almost 5 months and I only have 1 member and myself.

pr1 http://www.mens-source.com This domain name is a few years old. It started as an adult thumbnail post site. It still receive porn gallery traffic.

pr3 http://www.bestvideosites.com I'm stuck with this one for another year. It was for an adult video & movie post site. No time for it.

pr0 http://www.womensfaq.com The idea was for a womens frequently asked questions forum. Again, forum promotion cost dollars and requires time. I got the idea from http://www.aaronsideas.com/womens-faq

pr3 http://www.new-balance-shoes-nike.com I don't remember what I was really thinking

 

I regged a xxxxSucks . com when my mower broke and I was really pissed at their shoddy workmanship. I was going to throw the page up with pictures of their use of plastic parts and how a mower that new shouldn't look like this and... well. After I calmed down a bit I thought better of it. I'm now stuck with a name that gets traffic that will likely get me sued into oblivion if I actually use it.

Bummer.

www.brandboyz.com. Its a live forum I started 6 months back to make a fashion and style forum for men, it didnt worked because I got another project, and now I am not interested in developing it anymore. NAME.COM is selling brandboys.com in 2000$

not LIVE www.fut2bol.com this really sounds funny but it was those days when I used to register whatever sounds good FUT2BOL sounds good and you can pronounce it FUTTUBOL, I have no mood left for it now.

not LIVE www.11blues.com I thought to start a indian cricket site as its 11 players in cricket and an Indian Team's uniform color is blue.
