Blubert.com is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to enter a technology business. It has huge potential to becoming a leading portal.

The website features clustered technology news on a number of technology topics such as Security, Repotics, Gadgets, PS3, Nintendo WII, PS3 etc.
In addition the website updates a technology blog tracker every hour where breaking tech news can be found from leading technology blogs. The site also features a downloads section with over 29000 downloads
The site at the moment uses two $59 per month servers from Rackforce.com to run.

Site is already included on crunchbase.com as a Startup company @ http://www.crunchbase.com/company/blubert

The website updates entirely on its own every hour. The only attention that is needed is when rackforce reboots their servers (usually once a week). When Rackforce does this, it takes about 10 min to log on and sort out everything to have it running entirely on its own again.

Blubert.com is a techie dream, but unfortunately has no real traffic to speak of. It also does not have any revenue.
I'm a programmer by trade and I've already moved on to my next project and really am not interested in spending time promoting the project. Its been sitting 'idle' for the past few months while i work on other projects.

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: Two servers were used so that one server could handle all website requests and the other server could house the clustering application.

It can all be done on one server but I used two since I'm using the website server to run other websites and I didnt want any of the clustering processing to slow down the experience for the user when they visit the site.

 

also, please note that its really two Virtual Private Servers being used currently.
