    It's obviously there instead of the google logo but I've no idea why. I've just tried and it's not there for me.

    Yes I know that the google logo is suppose to be there. I also know during certain events, holidays they change the logo. But I don't understand this. It shows up for me with any search.

    EDIT: Oh, I think it only shows up in firefox browsers because I did a google search in safari and it didn't show up

    Were you actually doing a search from google.com or from a search option on a site outside of google? What that looks like is a search result page generated from a site using google’s search feature embedded on the site, not the actual result page from a google.com search.

    I have tried various search phrases and it popsup. First I searched for "hotmail" thats when I noticed it. Then I typed in google,cat, and apple. It still is there.

    Yeah, I am guessing that maybe you might try refreshing or emptying out temp internet files or maybe hit your comp with a ball peen hammer? LOL
