    I'm selling MLBForums.com, on eBay: http://tinyurl.com/fn2yh

If you want to bid, contact me via the eBay system so I can pre-approve you.

Well I would bid but I hate those pre approved auctions. Might be why you have no bids.

If you're an eBay member in good standing and have nothing to hide, pre-approval shouldn't be an issue for you. I have just become fed-up with NPB and timewasters, and this way I'm able to reduce this to an extent.

If you wish, PM here with your eBay ID and I'll pre-approve you.

As for "no bids", that means nothing as many buyers prefer to snipe. I have had a lot of interest in this auction and have pre-approved a number of potential buyers. So, who knows ... time will tell ...

Speaking of time, only about 3 hours remaining ... Get pre-approved now if you want to bid.

Was your member count inflated in any way artificially?

You have a good number of posts in the forums, but most of them are posted by the Admin account with what looks to be an automatic script.

Not "artificially", but the site integrates RSS feeds (by admin) and in the past, also usenet posts. The latter created several users. The reason was to seed the forum.

I have answered this question before and have never tried to hide this fact.

Same here, I see absolutely no point in them, they just slow down the auction process. I've never had any problems when dealing with anyone on eBay, regardless of how much/little feedback either party had.

    You're pre-approving bidders on a dead forum with a $99 starting bid?

I tried to bid but when I got the pre-approved bidder notice I didn't feel like going though the process.

    Thanks ... my feelings exactly.

For a more dedicated owner, this can be a very nice baseball portal and earner.

if that is true that kind of hurts the credibility of the sale.
