    I encountered a virus that sent me to ebay regardless of what site I was on. I don't know who wrote it but it was aggravating to remove.

    We may have to wait for a reply from shawn's end because other than digitalpoint i dont think he has any other better websites, so as per the first post each of dp members are stuffed with ebay cookies? Nothing can be true unless claimed. Lets wait.

    Is there any truth or basis to the news? Seems that the only article which relates to Shawn and DP getting sued is that article from the blog. Been searching through google and can't find any other reference similar to that one.

    lol they made software to do that? You can take it in about 3 lines of html code if you know what you are doing lol. The company I work for catches affiliates doing it all the time and we just suspend their account, we don't sue them. eBay is only suing them because they've got lots of money, if it was an average joe they would just get kicked out of the program.

    It's not like a normal web user would even notice this was happening.

    But realistically, they won't get much money out of this lawsuit. The worst thing that will happen is they were be forced to repay their affiliate commissions, which probably amount to 1% of what DP generates every day for him. eBay only pays like $25 for generating a new user and having them bid on something, and since they've been around for so long it's not like there is a huge number of people that haven't used ebay in the first place.
