Yeah - I'll say we're not happy about it. I worked really hard to put that material together and a lot of good people have paid for it legitimately. We're not some huge corporation or million-dollar recording artist, we're a small business with tight budgets just like everyone else. I'm honestly a bit scared to try the URLs for fear that they contain a virus, but we are lucky enough to have an in-house attorney (our COO and one of my very good friends), so do expect that we'll take some action there.
Very sad to see somebody trying to rip off SEOMoz, that website is nothing but excellent advice and a great team that put it together. It is only a small fee to pay them for the hard work that they do... Sad.. really sad.
Red rep left. It's absolutely soul destroying when some spends so much time putting something together that some comes along to rip them off - I mean it's not like SEOMoz don't already make a huge amount of great content available. By happy co-incidence I actually bought and downloaded the training videos on Friday for a new memebr of staff that's about to start here. At $200 (pro-membership + discounted videos) it's probably some of the better money that we've spent.
I am really surprised how the moderators/admin here haven't deleted the thread yet? Reported..! And its bad thing destryoing others hardwork by sharing them free when you actually have to pay!
x2 "I will give more video trainings from Seomoz" Sounds like this guy has access to all the premium content on SEOmoz, if that's the case it's just a matter of match the IP's. I can hear Sarah pulling on her neck wringing gloves from here.
It may be an idea for a mod to remove the link at least. I'm sure Rand has a screenshot of the page by now.
