Uhhhh it's either you didn't read the TOS or don't have a strong enough grasp of the English language and are just saying you want to optimize your CTR instead of "tricking" people to click on your ads.
Tricks to optimize: - use text ads only - blend text ads (colors) to fit into theme / and text - place block ads in text content Those are some legal tricks.
agreed, 336x280 and 250x250 are your friends... Don't fight it and don't try to split the atom, go with what works. good luck...

Is there a trick to getting people to click on my ads? Despite what some people have said, I understand your english better than many people that post here. I would say the best way to optimize your site so people will click on ads is to make sure you have enough content to insure that Google gives you relevant ads. It looks like your site seems to be generating relevant ads on the pages I looked at. If you see you are not getting relevant ads, try adding more content or descriptions using keywords related to your site. Besides this, you should work on blending your ads so that the ads provide useful information for readers, but do not stand out from the rest of the site.
If you really want to "trick" people into clicking stuff, do it with a trash program like bidvertiser. But as far as adsense goes, stick to the TOS. Because once you lose adsense, you can never EVER get it back. Or use Kontera text ads. My pages with kontera usually have about a 10-15% CTR. As opposed to 2-4% for adsense.
from my experience, putting the ads on the right near the scroll is the best way to "ask" visitor to click the ads. Besides, it is easy for them

The thing is that if you are trying TO hard to get people to click on your ads, then you probably won't get any, the point is to give your visitors, useful information about the subject and the clicks will come later.... Never play tricks when it comes to google adsense but provide original contents and blend the ads with the contents and you will see your ctr shooting up!
