vbSEO worth the money?

Hi,

I am starting up a new forum, I am not sure to buy vbSEO or not..

Is it really that good? or is it not a big difference

I think not bad, its bit too pricey but its not really bad.

Performing the optimization tweaks that vBSEO does is most definitely helpful, you can do all these tweaks manually but vBSEO does it without all the messing around and provides an interface to manage it all.

It also does a ton of non-seo tasks that are quite helpful, like Adsense section targeting, handles caching, cleans up HTML and that sort of thing.

It may seem like a lot, but it works out at just over $10 a month which isn't much. If you monetize your board it will pay for itself.

 

The one down side to it was the "cleans up HTML". There are many times you want the HTML code that way even though it is incorrect.

We stopped using it for the day to day tasks. Did help with Adsense though.

 

i just got it about 1 week a go. I would say the price is high as compared to the vbulletin itself. If you could get it cheaper anywhere else, that's probably the best.

About the produt itself, it gives you a proper interface to manage without breaking things up. It saves you time if you intend to do this yourself. Furthermore, vbseo gives you free google sitemap generator where it will ping the google about the generated sitemap.

Besides that, i dont see it as "that" useful. However, if you ask: will I buy it again?
I would say Yes, I will. Reason is because I just like something extra and dont mind spending that $. But once again, I wish I could find someone sells a second hand license for a lower price than that.

You will need to give it a bit of time for everything to start working, at least through a full Pagerank cycle.

But yes i agree, it is expensive considering it costs almost the same as the core vB product itself which makes the outlay to setup a new board fairly expensive however i have no doubt vBSEO pays for itself within the first 12 months.

One of the main reasons i like it is because i'm pretty fussy about duplicate content, (same content appearing on 2 URL's due to script flaws) which vBSEO eliminates.
