$50 Cleaning Company Logo

Discussion in 'Design Contests' started by xd2, Aug 27, 2008.

I need a logo for a contract cleaning company. To give an insight it is a company that other companies pay to come and clean their offices or individuals pay to come and clean their homes.

    Company Name: Blitz Contracts Ltd

The logo does not need the "Ltd" anywhere on it and I would prefer it not to be their.

    Specs:
You have total freedom on design, although it should be clean looking and modern. I think blues would work well but it is up to you to do what you think looks good.

The winning logo MUST BE provided in large 300dpi .PSD or Illustrator .AI file, no exceptions.

The winning designer will be paid $50 for the design, it isn't alot of money but I don't want alot of design :) You have to give up the right to display this in your portfolio as I can't risk my client seeing it.

In the event I don't like any of them I will pay $25 to the best entry and no artwork will be required.

Payment will be via Paypal or Moneybookers. You choose.

    DEADLINE IS 24 - 48 HOURS

    GOOD LUCK!

Well, at least you are honest about passing someone else's work off as you own. LOL

Actually I don't :D I do most of the design work myself but when clients want a sample of different designs I run a contest and get this. The client is fully informed that this is how I am acquiring the designs and will be reviewing and choosing.

However I don't want the clients design on another companies website as:

    a) The client doesn't want the logo anywhere else.
    b) My design company will be on the clients website so would look a bit dodgy
    c) To stop the obvious problem of a client going direct as I am obviously making something on the price.

Honesty is the best policy :)

Thanks for all the entries so far.

DrDesigner: Great entry this is my personal fav so far, although can you explain why that icon? Also It will be going onto business stationary but I will sort that ;)

anidesign: It is a clean design and I will submit it to the client but I personally think it is lacking something.

sorenson-design: Sorry I think the guy looks to clip-arty and the rest is just essentially text. I won't submit this.

Seni: It is a nice logo but not what I think would work for the company, it reminds me of the UK BT Openworld logo :). I won't be submitting this one.

BottomUpSites: I don't see the relevance to the company and it also seems to be lacking something. I wouldn't submit this as it is.

harleen: sorry this doesn't fit or match any of the criteria.

Thanks to everyone so far, I don't think I will have a problem finding a winner.

Hi David thanks for the quick and clear feedback. Here are 2 more options. I think these are more directly related to the cleaning aspect of the business.

    Thanks

Hey, I made this simple logo.

Many people think simple logos are better to memorise so they're better.

Creations4You: Sorry I didn't comment on yours before, it will be submitted but I don't see the need for the initials in the circle I think it could be improved made to look more modern maybe.

offiri0: The second one is the best out of the two but I wouldn't submit either, the icon has no relevance.

BottomUpSites: I will submit both, I think the bottom version is the better one, although overall I think they may be too aggressive in there appearance. I wouldn't know what to suggest regarding this.

jokersofjoker: Not to be rude but very fitting name. For a laugh I recreated that logo in Photoshop in under 15 clicks. Text, Gradient Overlay, Outline, Drop Shadow. Simple is good for people to remember but most of the designs submitted have been simple with some effort put in aswell :)

Gamerz7: Not to keen on the design but the brush is a deffinite no go. This won't be submitted sorry.

Thanks to all I look forward to checking back again for more entries. This is going better then I expected if I am honest, alot of telent :D
