    Well the way I do it is just create a page under a page then link to that page where ever I see fit. Such as if you have a contact us page and you want to have an about me page then structure it like this

    - Contact Us
    - - About Me

    and it won't display in the main navigation.

    If someone knows a better way please enlighten me because I wouldn't mind knowing either.

    Use

     <?php wp_list_pages('exclude=1,3' ); ?>
    Code (markup):
    in your header.php. Replace 1 and 3 with the page IDs you do not want to show up.
