I think someone is tried to sabotage my blog, either that or its spammers....

Twice in the last 3 days, Someone tried posting links to an XXX site on my page....... (including a bunch of links on a funny article about Larry Bird's Mustache haha)...... and I think they did this to make it look like my site is linking to porn sites!!!!

Does Google know people attempt things like that and it wont affect my rankings???

Has this ever happened to anyone? Is there a way I can catch these people they put a fake email address!!!!

only twice, you're doing well! yes google know very well that people do things like that. how well they react is less clear.

if it's a wordpress blog make sure akismet is activated, it's very good at stopping spam (which can arrive in hundreds of spam comments a day sometimes)
most blogs only display comments after they are manually approved to stop the possibility of spam / porn etc comments being posted

also, if its wordpress make sure its at least version 2.5 - earlier versions are very susceptible to spam links in hidden text - invisible when you look at the site, but visible in the source code. (I only realised this had happened to one of my blogs when the adsense ads were suddenly all for viagra etc)

I have the same thing happen on my wordpress blog all the time. It is bot spammers.

Download and install this to stop it: http://recaptcha.net/plugins/wordpress/

you have to register to get the key.

I get about 100 or more of those everyday from people or robots trying to sneak that garbage SPAM into my blog.. It part of the game, I am afraid, when you want to run a blog in the big leagues.

Just delete those posts or comments and activate a good spam killer plugin on your blog, like Akismet or Spam Karma and that will catch 99% of the junk.

If you are using Wordpres, your current version should come with Akismet installed by default. All you need to do is just to activate the plugin. I find that it's very useful and works most of the time to filter out the spam.
