Hyphens - No Hyphens or Underscores - The answer

In the debate to use or not use Hyphens in url and at the same time address the Hyphen vs. Underscore debate. I stumbled accross the Google Gods version of the answers.

Consider using punctuation in your URLs. The URL http://www.example.com/green-dress.html is much more useful to us than http://www.example.com/greendress.html. We recommend that you use hyphens (-) instead of underscores (_) in your URLs.

The only question left is: How many Hyphens?

What do you mean "How many"? Just use a hyphen wherever there should be a whitespace. Don't use 3 in a row :)

Sorry, when I said "The only question left is: How many Hyphens?", it pertains to the discusion of how many hyphens can you have in a domain name and a web file name before it becomes a negative.

i don't think there is a limit or you can get penalized for using too many hyphens.
