I think it's a good idea to just move one of the ad units and slot it in between your blog post. It sure looks odd to have two ad units placed too close to each other. Readers' attention seems to spread around the blog so it might be a good idea to spread the ads as well. That's just what I think...

The link unit that you have used in the first post, I think you should replace it with a 250*250 ad unit. That will help to increase CTR.

 

Placing on side bar size 160x600 could be better

 

I would agree with that. Go a little bit bigger.

 

yes, 250*250 works well when blend it into the post. Why don't you put the link unit above the ELT Categories on the right side? I think it is a better place for link unit.
