    Just becuase your website PR changed today does not make it PR update. Many sites gain or loose PR everyday. A PR update is when all sites are updated en masse.

    If your blog went from PR 3 to PR 0 it may be due to a penalty and this happens all over the internet everyday... it is not a PR update.

    I do agree that the update happened a few weeks ago but also have to agree with others on the fact that some sites have been changing, I had a site a few weeks ago that went from PRO to PR4 and it just dropped back to PR2 - so update or not there has been changes

    I think google should make there updates whenever they want maybe even randomnly and not stick to a planned schedule, then people would worry less about the PR value and more about the SEO

    The last update a month ago made alot of crazy changes that made no sense, and now this late August update is even worse

    What are the engineers at Google doing??? This is getting ridiculous.

    what is really crazy about this update, on one of my domains, the main page dropped from PR4 to PR0 but some internal pages are still PR4!!! what the heck is going on with Google??

    the same thing happened to one of my sites in the last month, even worse though, went from 30,000 pages indexed now down to 4500 pages indexed :(

    sometimes Google makes us so sad about all of our hard work and years of sleepless nights working hard on our sites and they can wipe you out overnight with some unexplained changes, it is really frustrating

    On 1 blog 1 jump from PR3 to PR4 and on another blog from PR4 to PR3

    One of my sites that used to be PR5 which fell to PR4 on the last update is back to PR5. I don't really care about PR but is is nice to see on the toolbar.
