    Hi;

    I have started a new dictionary.

    it's a turkish to english, english to turkish dictionary.

    i'm currently making seo for my web site but i need more ideas to promote my dictionary.

    my target customers are

    * turkish persons who needs an english dictionary
    * foreign persons who needs a turkish dictionary

    all ideas are welcome.

    Post on a turkish vacation forum?

    Tell the Turkish/English/USA tourism boards about your website so they can offer it to Turkish tourists to help them translate?

    And then there's the usual article writing scenario... I'm sure you know it :rolleyes:

    Is this a dictionary that provides meanings for words, Turkish and English, or just translates them... or both?

    Okay, so your target audience is normal, every day Turks as well.

    Personally, I would get a toolbar or search tool for a browser such as Firefox or IE7. When a user visits your site you can ask them to download the toolbar, or set their default search to your website. This means that once you've convinced a visitor to download/install your tool you have them for good ;)
