[HELP] I want to make my WP blog private.

Hi,
I have a personal blog of my own which is for my family and friends. I dont want it to be accessible by anyone. How can I do it in Wordpress?

Ok First thing you can do is go in your wordpress admin panel. Go to Settings and Privacy. Block all search engines.

If it is hosted on your own server, then you can also make it password protected. All you have to do is install wordpress in a separate folder like /blog/ and then password protect this directory.

Another option is that you can password protect each individual post and only give the password to your family members
