    I know that content ruins a website because of "Duplicate Content" and they won't earn much. However I was wondering. If made a xHTML and CSS layout and used it for several of my websites with "Unique Content" would there be any penalties?

    The layout will have unique graphics, and slight changes for each website. However the base of the code will basically be the same. Will this cause problems for SERPs, PR, Revenue, anything?

    You will never get penalized for using the same layout for different sites.

    No..Never. You can use that layout to as many blogs/sites as you can.No problem with it.

    If your content is totaly unique then there is no problem to use the same layout.
