    Both are free open source and easy to integrate. So all are using it.

    Wordpress uses PHP language.

    bcoz they are search engine friendly and consider google lovers. Google picks post very fast from these two blog sites due to their search engine frndly nature and blog structure. Technique they use is WEB2.0...........................

    Blogger is easy to use for me. While wordpress has flexible elements. In any case, both sites exhibit search engine friendliness like most people here have already said. I guess that's good reason why a lot of people are using it.

    This was interview questions, geez. What happened to "tell me about yourself" questions ? anyway WP/Blogger are free and most of the people have only heard about them only. so that's it. The bigger keeps on getting bigger

    As Aryans stated, wordpress has more plugins as compared to blogspot. Moreover they both are free of cost.
    But IMO, as far as i have experienced, i find blogger as the best and easiest of all

    They are both:
    • Free
    • Easy
    • Search engine Friendly
    • Has different themes to customize

    blogger is user friendly and can be used by people who has basic knowledge in html

    Wordpress is much complexity and you can do more things here, plus it has an auto pinger.

    humm this is very easy question...as most of the people who are beginner can't spent money on web hosting, domain purchasing, web design, development and promotion stuff initially. Specially when there is no specific purpose of blogging. thats why they prefer free blogs.
