Penalty/Filter or just fluctuations going on?

My established SEO-optimized site fell from page 1/2 rankings for several keywords to page 4 mostly page 5/6/7

I discovered that this morning and am despaired completely ..
I checked all the Google Data centers and the results are everywhere the same :-(

 

Have you submitted a website to directories recently? It could happen due to intensive website submission to link directories!

 

yes, i did. submission to 500. can this be fixed?

 

This is a typical situation for young domain names. Once I have the similar situayion intensive website submission procedure, my website ranking positions failed signifficatly, however, they have become ever better afterwards!

 

As to my own opinion, I would advice you to wait 2-3 weeks. If everything is ok, website should come back to its previous positions, hope they will become even better later! By the way, have you lost positions in Google only?

strange is, i know the behaviour when you got a new site and it's ranking on page 3/4/5 if you type in the domain name in google.
but this time when i type in the domain name the domain itself shows in position 1 but the keyword results moved to page 4/5/6

 

What do you mean, "submission to 500"?

 

submission to 500 web directories... this doesn't mean instant 500 backlinks, because normally not all get approved and indexed on the same time but time by time .. as offered in the buy/sell section

 

sorry, can you clarify if you search for your domain name on google, what position is it in?

 

position 1 for the domain name
the keyword rankings dropped by 3-4 pages over night on all data centers


it's not the same as with new domain names - when you link build them - you might have not position 1 for the domain but after some time it goes up and up ... until you reach position 1 for the domain itself...

Yes, I have the same situation for my website, nevertheless the situation was signifficuntly improved later and after 3-4 weeks passed this website took the 1 position in google.

 

I mean we took the 1-st position on several keywords we have been trying to optimize a website for! This happen when 3-4 weeks passed after intensive web link directory submission! The site suddenly appeared on top again!

 

but during this "sandbox" did you have position 1 when you typed in the domain-name in google?

 

Once my website was indexed it had 5-7 positions for the main keywords first! When I started directory submission my google ranking positions were lost in a few days. After 3-4, website suddenly appeared at the 3-rd position and later took the 1-st one!

 

Yes i am also noticing fluctuation in google since couple of days. In india on morning time my site is showing on 92 position and in evening 4 p.m it is showing 62 position.

My another site is just out of penalty. My site is penalized in 2005. and now it is showing in SERPS.
