Start new domain, or Buy old domain?

I know search engines give authority to older content oriented sites. If I want to create a new site of my own is it better to register a new domain or buy older domain with relevant name?

 

Buying an older one has a lot more complications attached with it and you have to research a LOT before doing so.
I would say, go for a new one. They are ranked as well as old domains.

You serious? I thought that domain age was a key factor in Google's algorythm.

Old domain is better but more expensive than a new registration!

 

I would recommend a new name, as it is more safe because you don't know what has been done with a domain name that has been registered in the past.

 

I choose old domain, cause it has been rated better..

 

Of course, it is better to purshase an older domain name!
