How to play with adsense ads?

Hi all,

Let me know how much time should I test the changes for any adsense ads. For eg. if I am changing the color of ads, then how much time should I keep to test. (or are there any other techniques, please share). Also, guide me how to test or play with the adsense ads in order to earn more and more revenue....Thanks In Advance.

It depends on how much traffic you are getting.

If you are getting thousands of visitors daily, you will know what works and what doesn't, in a single day.

I would say you should wait for at least 200-300 uniques before you come to any conclusion.

 

agreed. you need to have some decent exposure to get a feel for it.

 

That means more visitors less time and less visitors more time.

 

Yes you are right , because if you have more visitors than you can track your channels and know which is getting more attention but i low visitors we cant even think that he was attracted to ad or just click because he thought it is new option in our site .

 

I would recommend to keep it for a fortnight......

 

i'm still not understand why some people get easy earning from their adsense..

 

It all depends on your traffic ctr and the earnings its upto you to decide which timeframe suits best.

I am not a supporter of changing ads all the time...they can lead to lower ecpm..but ofcourse you need to first figure it out which ads format is best suitable for you...Normally that experimental period for me is not more than 10 days...

 

Thats exactly it..
But frequent alteration may cause you losing returning visitors.
