I know that this computer in the office is infected with viruses. I scanned the whole computer using AVG (free). No luck. I also tried Spybot Search & Destory, but this didn't solve the problem. Then, I just tried Malware Sweeper (free); this still didn't solve the problem. What other free anti-virus, malware, adware, etc. software can I try to get rid of all viruses and malware? What are must-have free anti-virus, malware, adware, etc. software besides

    AVG (free)
    Spybot Search & Destory
    Malware Sweeper (free)

    ???

Trojan Remover??? (Is there a free version?)
Trend Micro HijackThis??? (Is there a free version?)
Ad-Aware??? (Is there a free version?)
Glary Registry Repair??? (Is there a free version?)

If you are using Genuine Windows XP / Vista then your choice can be Windows Defender a decent Antispyware for antivirus you can choose AVG, Regularly update it on daily basis. Also make sure you delete Autorun files from your pendrive before you use them. You can use command prompt to do that. Attrib command to reset their hidden system readonly attributes :)

Are you sure it has a virus? It could be something else that's broken, like some corrupted files or something like that.

AVG is still free but why not go for a paid full package that will ensure you don't get viruses in the future. Like an internet security package.

I think you should try malware byte to remove all your malwares, spywares and Trojans from your pc and try avira antivirus with latest updations, both are free and available on the sites.

I am it would help you and would remove the virus and spyware problems from your pc.
