hey guys i want to know the basics of how i can get the direct link from rapidshare. I have a premium account, so so worries about that, but i want to write a script for a website which will allow users to download rom rapidshare using my premium accunts. i dont want you guys to tell me the whole thing, just an overview on how i should go about doing this, like how i can get the direct link thanks! my bad, mods please move it to specific sub forum "php".

yes like that and i m lookign for a script. but i want to develop my own....so i need ideas/pointers.
Do you know Php? Just some infomation, if you dont, Its going to be around 400-1000 lines of code.(not including form styling, layout, etc) I am making a script very very soon, That grabs the link from rapidshare and gives it to the user to download DIRECTLY from rapidshare. Rapidshot downloads the file to your server, and then the user downloads it from YOUR server, this isnt so good bandwidth-wise. Btw, Are you aware that users cant just download a file from rapidshare.com with the premium link? Test it yourself, Get the premium link of a file, erase your cookies, and then copy/paste the premium link in your URL. When ive finished the script, I may sell it, not sure. Btw - Are you the owner/Mod of projectw?
^nonono lol, not a mod/owner of projectw. projectw is dead now as far is knowning php is concerned, i know quite a bit, but certainly i am not an advanced programmer. I read a couple of books, and rightnow i m writing little scripts, just to get to know it bit beetter, then i will move on to this rapidshare project. what i thought was to get direct links, dont you know about them? go to like a warez forum, and u will see people converting rs links into direct premium links, and yes, obviously i wont sotre the files on my server, unless I have like mad money for hosting....so thats wut i was thinking about doing, if thats possible?
Show me where people are posting converted links please. As far as I know this was stoped when rapidshare updated there page design and infastructure. And yes I know about direct links, I just tested this "theory" again and it doesnt work. Log into your rapidshare account, press "premium" on a link, copy the link URL, logout of your account, paste link into URL bar. It doesnt work. I would like to see what is going on on those forums where people are managing to post direct links.
