This is an example inner pages could have better PR then the home page. I heard of it before, never saw any. Now it happened to my site.

This doesn't really surprise me..If I had a bunch of high pr links pointing to www.bluewidget.com/widget.html and not so many pointing to www.bluewidget.com alone the same thing would probably happen. Also, maybe the site had a higher PR until the last update..Who knows, could be a number of different reasons

Makes sense. Sometimes a thread get popular and probably more then the homepage for a new forum like mine pulling in more links. Its only three months old, I guess thats the reason.

You might want to remove / hide the link to your PR6 page, or you can expect a huge surge in a number of new members who will sign up and leave a comment on that thread with a link in their signatures.

it all depends on links, it's just that your PR6 page has more links or is getting more visitors than your homepage, it's not unsual, although i agree it's not common

I have around more than 1300 pages in a site and it has PR3 how can i check individual PR for each page.

I always thought that the PR is for a site.

I am curious about PR of homepage and Innerpage Differs

I have heard something but right as you said "never saw any".

As alex_d1 said that will give you a lot of new members that will post in that thread with a signature.
My suggestion is also to hide it.

    Good luck ;)

I think this depends one popularity . In past when technorati trains were started than everyone was linking each other blogs and many blogs posts received higher pr than main pages .

You can download the Google Toolbar and you can check in the toolbar the Page Rank for each page that you load on the browser

People link to good content. :) If you built your site right in a tiered system, the PR should add linkjuice to your homepage too.

Funny you said that. I just noticed lot of new posts on that thread.

I think that would be great having new people come in. After all I need new folks there:)

The forum is only three months old. By this time thats a good achievement I think. But I must give the credit to the members, they are the ones made it a nice place as well as useful one.

    Definitely sound advice.

But those poor unfortunate souls will find their post on page 2 of the thread - a PR0. :)

The pic of the woman being prepared for stoning though is going to haunt me.

it is very common, your pr6 page maybe get some high pr back links than your homepage.
