You have got to be kidding, people will buy anything on Ebay. A little while ago there were people selling their souls on Ebay on the bids were extremely low

I couldn't believe it, but yes literally anything. It must be pretty bad if you think you need to sell your soul on Ebay. Some people had certificates signed in blood awarding their soul to the winner.

I don't know what is worse, the people that are selling their souls or the people that are buying them, both seem pretty creepy to me

The people bidding on these items are just putting up fake bids for laughs and giggles. They are rarely legitimate. I put up a couple of baseball cards for sale (worth around $150) and they got bid up to over $20,000 and obviously the guy didn't pay.

So what is the point of listing on Ebay these days.

Do they still try to make you pay the % of final value fee and listing fee? It seems like a waste to spend money on listing items when chances are the user will not pay and members are "joking" with their bids? Has Ebay gone down the tubes?

It would be bizarre logging into your eBay account to check on your item and find out it has been bid up to 1 million bucks.. then login a few days later and see it drop.

A lot of the high bids on garbage are probably just advertising scams.

Like the virgin Mary toast the online gambling company was on the front page of AP news for 4 days that hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of advertising.

Have your buddy list garbage bid it up and hope the media picks it up. There are always auctions like this on ebay but only a small few get lucky and get publicity.
