Lordo seemed like a gentleman to me, I am sure the moderators have a valid and genuine reason for banning him in the middle of a 25000$ plus sale and perhaps they could share this with us.

 

Yeah, its a shame... he seemed like a decent guy. I'd bid earlier on the site and had been outbid but I was considering bumping up my bid a bit too. Very strange indeed.

 

I went to the site for a look http://uslawyersdb.com/ and he has posted an explanation on the homepage and apparently he got banned for a week because his last post was considered a "Bump".

I think the mods should re-consider this as there is alot of interest in this websites sale and I would appreciate him being un-banned as it seems a very harsh punishment considering the high value of this sale.

(1) do you have the right to the content on the site for re-use or did you attain via scraping
(2) we need to structure so that I can be sure that stats are what you say and you are legitimate. I have done several prior deals and used an independent escrow agent that can then wire funds as needed.
(3)can I get a login to your ad account for verification or we can review over a gotomeeting call.

Geez, DP wants credibility but bans a member with a legitimate premium site like this in mid-auction when things are hot and heavy? What a joke! I would be much more angry than Lordo seems to be.

It looks like Lordo was banned. What happened to this offer? I was interested, but I was also concerned that the highest PR backlinks came from the seller's other sites (for example, PR 7 at http://www.internetplus.biz/).

 

He banned the reason for bumping his thread which i do not think that he was doing it so the punishment was too heavy!
He is trying to sell his site of course he will post replies a little bit more than us.

as for the site, its pr6 but backlinks are not strong so if you buying for pr consider twice however the site is very strong for the keyword its competing. And rev is very good. would worth more than $20k.

Sincere thanks to the guys who sent me emails and who helped explaining the situation here in the thread. This thread introduced good persons to each other

And thanks to dp! Because I was banned, I had the time to know a very respectable company with which I had meetings and we may cooperate in many things in the future (garym25). They brightened the potential of my website by sharing their business model and details with me and the earnings doubled! in a few days, I will go through testing their monetization on the site to see if it converts better than the current.

BTW I was asked several times why I want to sell a site that makes 2K/month (and more now). I want to sell because I don't trust the continuity of google adsense for me (accounts get banned every month)! Also, were I in the US, I would have tried YPN (which may generate more income) but I am not. So, my earning resources are limited. Besides, an American business related person will manage this business much better.

The current situation of US Lawyers DB is:

1- Traffic is 25% higher now

2- I made three changes to the site:
a) applied a layout and redistributed the ads
b) offered a context "update now" button at every lawyer's page so that a lawyer does not find it difficult to update his/her listing - as a result, we receive like 10~15 requests per day (read the following point)
c) developed the control area so that I don't have to open the email, find the lawyer and copy every detail. Instead, I just go to the control area, click "new update requests" and all requests are ready for me to review and click "update" or "cancel update" It is that easy now. It takes me like 2 minutes to finish the requests everyday. But sometimes I have to search google for some information to make sure that the information relates to this person.

3- Earnings are doubled (I am seeing $120~$205 per day now) because of the better CTR


The highest offer I got was $30K from Valhalla. I will wait to see if the traffic increase is permanent or not then I will monetize the site with gary's ads for a couple of days as per our agreement.
