oh - well then good content (keyword rich), keyword in titles, url and tags, promotion, make use of many interactive modules - that's all I can really think of off the top of my head
My Dear Brother and Sisters Yes you are right my lens in having page rank 3 and getting crawl only after 1 or 2 hours of my submission. Its nice to have lens as it is there are various modules which will increase your lens popularity. I am sure it is very very helpful when you write unique content and promote it litttle bit.
He meant "powerful". The question is best answered via the SquidU forums and via many of the 'how-to' guides that people have built at Squidoo. That said, the best thing you could is write/design a good, original, thorough lens on a top you know well. It shouldn't be too general, as it will probably not be found by anyone searching in the search engines. It should be on a topic that interests others too, so people are actually searching for it.
