Question About The Contact Form On Wordpress - Adding Other Fields?

Hi,

On my wordpress blog I want the user to be able to contact me without the URL option and with a further option/field.
When writing a post there is an option to insert a contact form, which I've done, but I can't seem to find any options to change the contact form.

Any ideas if this is possible? If so, how?

you're going to have to use an alternative to that contact form. Here's a pretty good contact form plugin that you can customize:

Give cformsII a shot. It is highly customizable.

I've installed the plugin, and I added an option to upload a file. However when trying to upload an image, it brings up an error that that file type is not allowed.

Any idea how to allow this? I've looked at the plugin settings but can't seem to find any mention of the file types...

Are you using cforms? I think it has a section in the file upload options for "Allowed file extensions".

 

Yep thanks, noticed this yesterday for some reason all the image file extensions were disabled by default.

Yeah, it's a confusing layout. I found it quicker by searching the source code! I know it has a lot of options but hiding them doesn't help.
