What's the best State? Consider living, pride, weather, politics, etc. California WORST. I'd say Washington or Virginia BEST! You?
Best? Probably Colorado, but its getting expensive there like California...Worst? North Dakota and Wyoming (except yellowstone) come to mind...
Colorado is beautiful. Arizona is beautiful too. New Mexico sucks. No offense to anyone who lives there.
Well for me, Arizona is the best. Maybe it was just the area I was in, but prices were affordable, the weather was great and the people were wonderful. Worst is definitely Louisiana, though New Jersey closely follows.
Personally I like Colorado the best followed by Hawaii and California (even though California has a population problem). The worst probably the big east coast cities like Philadelphia or the bible belt like Alabama.
I think all states have something good about them so it's hard to choose. Although I'm not really into the weather that comes along with living in states like Montana, North Dakota, Idaho, Wyoming, and Minnesota.
worst is NYC...nothing beautiful to see...only buildings and a lot of people...the best one hmm miami?
California is both the best and the worst... Los Angeles for example is really nice and cool in places like Hollywood for example but the majority of the place is full of homeless people, illegals, and typical scum bags... its a very crazy place to live, i have walked through south central a few times and yeah it really sucked.
Well where do YOU live in Louisiana? There's plenty amazing places here in Louisiana. Lots of beautiful sights. But yes there are crappy areas just like any other place in the world. Everyone down here is always prepared to party. The talent in Louisiana and the neighboring states is just wonderful. From some of the best athletes in the world to amazing musicians. I lvoe my state. But there are some things I don't like. Such as the crime in some of the cities.
I can't imagine why anyone would live in California. As if the earthqakes weren't bad enough, seems like the place is always having mudslides, or windstorms, or forest fires! But no, I've never been there and I would love to visit, before it burns down or falls into the Pacific! Michigan is pretty nice. A tad bit chilly, but we have ways of keeping warm.
I live in California.. People think that LA and Hollywood are the only places in california to ever be noted. I agree La is gross.. I live about 40 mins away from LA in the Valley.. and it's lovely.. I've also lived up north in Palo Alto... ( Stanford College) So many smart people and so many huge houses. Don't judge a place until you have been there and walked in places besides LA.. I don't like Az.. very dull compared to Ca.. I don't know about the worst place.. but I don't want to live there.
I have traveled to every state in the US and I have to say that in my travels I have seen both the good and the ugly in most states. The most scenic state was Alaska in the summer. There were great scenic views and so much wilderness and wildlife I couldn't imagine a more pristine place. The least scenic state had to be Nebraska. Lots of flat wide open space great for growing corn, but not so much fun to look at. Admittedly I was there in late fall after everything was harvested. As far as states to live in, Idaho is pretty dang nice. Cheap living, lots of outdoor activities to take part in, a number of good jobs, and so far a solid economy even in these tough times. The only down side is that Idaho is an extremely conservative Republican state.
