Yahoo : links:domain name
Msn : inbody:domain name

check your links and try to improve

Good! but from where you know about the MSN backlink command?

 

And for Yahoo! -

Command is link:www.yoursite.com which would be redirected to Site Explorer

So, better to go to http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com to check your site indexed pages and backlinks from Yahoo! Search.

 

yes i know that but all guys can't remind that big command so simple is links:yourdomain

and one more thing dude the command is links not link

 

well i mentioned in the title itself that it is specially for newbies. As experienced SEOs must have knowledge about MSN,Yahoo and Google as i do have

 

This will inevitably lead to a slew of posts from people complaining that they can't find their backlinks in google, so needs the postscript that google says it only ever shows a 'sampling' of your backlinks

A larger sample of your backlinks is in Webmaster tools, but again, they say quite clearly it's not a complete list
